Branimir Gvozdenovic was born in 1961 in Bar, Montenegro. He completed his studies in electric engineering at the University of Podgorica. He began his professional career in the Secretariat for Development of Montenegro, where he coordinated a team of young experts that initiated Montenegro informatics development with new ICT platforms. In 1999 he was elected Assistant Secretary and after that, Executive Director of the Montenegrin Postal Service.
He became Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policies and Development in 2001, holding this duty for three mandates. After parliamentary elections in 2009, he became Minister of the Environment. During his career Gvozdenovic was also president of the board of Electroprivreda of Montenegro and member of the supervisory board of JP PTT of Montenegro. He has been re-elected a number of times as a Member of Parliament. He was also a president of the Assembly of Volleyball Association of Montenegro and of ZRK Buducnost.Go back
