EDUCATION

1979: Bachelor of Law, Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

2002 – 2003: Serb Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina – served as Chairman of the Presidency until April 2003

2000 – 2002: President of the Republic of Srpska

1998 – 2000: Vice President of the Republic of Srpska

1980 – 1990: Economic systems “Famos” Sarajevo – “Engine factory Sarajevo” and “Unis” Sarajevo

  • work experience in the administration began as Secretary of the Municipal Assembly of New Sarajevo;
  • in one term he was both President of the Executive Board of the Municipality of East New Sarajevo and East Sarajevo Mayor;
  • served two terms as a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.

He has been a member of the Serbian Democratic Party since the year 1990.
