Biography

Zlatko Dedić is an experienced economic expert with 35 years of experience working in both the public and private sector. During the course of his career he held several executive and director positions, first in Energoinvest J.S.C. in Sarajevo, before moving on to Agency for privatization in FB&H and later on serving as the CEO for the Sarajevo Stock Exchange. Some of the activities that he performed while holding these positions are : evaluation of investment programs, making decisions for investments, financial analysis , preparation and analysis of budgets, coordination and cooperation with international community representatives, managing privatization of several key strategic companies in FB&H and business development of stock exchange activities and development of whole B&H capital market. Mr. Dedić has proven himself as one of the foremost experts in the field. He also served as an Advisor to the President of Supervisory Board of Sarajevo Brewery J.S.C.

Mr. Dedić has extensive experience working with private sector entities, public sector institutions, business associations, and academia. He also attended numerous trainings in the field across the globe, such as : Interenergo and LHB bank – International corporate business training and banking practice in New York; Zagreb University Faculty of Economics – Stock Exchange Business Seminar in Zagreb; USAID – Privatization Investment Fund Seminar in Prague ; British Know-How Fund’s Financial analysis in Bristol UK, The Alan Smith Institute – Privatization airport in London, JICA Japan – Strategic management in Tokyo, USA Securities and Exchange Commission – Program for Capital Market Institutions in Washington and New York, PR of China Ministry of Commerce – Seminar on Fin. Market Construction and Economic Development for Developing Countries in Beijing. He graduated at Sarajevo University Faculty of Economics, and later became a specialist on the subject of Post-graduate Management and Information Technology Study. He also holds a Masters degree in Financial management studies on Sarajevo University Faculty of Economics.
